Avengers: Age of Ultron: We attended the biggest premiere of the year

by Brandon Russell | April 14, 2015April 14, 2015 11:20 am PDT

Marvel’s media blitz for Age of Ultron has been in hyperspeed ever since the turn of the new year, with clip after clip and trailer after trailer. When you have arguably the biggest movie of 2015, it’s easy to see why the studio is so eager to show of its prized possession. And we’ve been loving every minute of it.

We’ve been to Apple events, car shows, big tech circuses, and Google powwows. But nothing could prepare us for the Avengers: Age of Ultron premiere in Hollywood last night. There are always wonderful perks to a job like this, but this was above and beyond what we ever imagine. Jon had the opportunity to walk the same hallowed red carpet as the Avengers team, and, in his words, it was unlike anything he’s ever experienced.

As we continue to expand our entertainment coverage, we’re hoping to really hit the ground running with opportunities like this. Jon should have much more to tell you in a future video, but I can tell you right now that I’ve never seen him so excited. He’s not allowed to discuss the movie right now, so let’s just sit back and revel at the beauty and spectacle of one of the biggest premieres ever.

This was Jon’s first ever premiere, and it was definitely a memorable one; he got to see the entire Avengers team in the flesh, many actors from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Godfather himself, Stan Lee. Phones, computers, and expensive supercars are all well and good, but there’s something more tangible and fulfilling about the glitz and glamor of Hollywood. And seeing a movie before it’s in theaters is always fun.

Check out the pictures above for Jon’s viewpoint of the festivities throughout the night. We wish we could say more, but these will have to do for now.

We’d like to extend our sincerest thanks to Dolby for inviting TechnoBuffalo to the World Premiere.
