Check out The Witcher 3’s first 15 minutes of gameplay

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is nearing its official release date on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As such, CD Projekt Red is really starting to push out the big reveals.

Now, we have the first 15 minutes of gameplay that happens after the opening cutscene of the game. This comes courtesy of IGN’s “First” series as that outlet was tapped for the exclusive. They put the clip up on YouTube for the world to see, and we have it featured at the head of this post.

The gameplay starts with dialogue between Geralt and another. Right up front we have the dialogue options that make The Witcher games, well, Witcher games. That shifts to, of course, monster battling, magic use, terrified horses and a little travel.

Then the game makes a jump in the interest of time. So, sure, this isn’t exactly “the first 15 minutes” of the game as it is 15 minutes worth of early game content. Blame IGN for that wording, I suppose.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt does look fantastic, though. I know I’ll be snapping this one up when it drops. The official release date for this one on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is May 19, 2015. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
