For a large portion of the video game playing world, the amount of content a title provides dictates its potential sale. Plenty of gamers have limited funds to work with, so they seek out longer games with the intention of stretching their $60 as far as they possibly can.
CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will apparently be a great place to spend your hard earned scratch if game length is what you’re after. Assuming, of course, that it’s actually a good game. Including side quests and such, players could unravel a tale worth 200 hours.
Senior Game Designer Damien Monnier responded to a fan question on Twitter regarding The Witcher 3‘s length. Here’s what he offered.
@Ryldux mmmm hard to say, if you do everything I d say 200+ hours.

We already know from CD Projekt RED that the actual storyline for The Witcher 3 runs around 50 hours. That means sidequests and travel will take up at least 150 if you want to do and see everything the game has to offer.
For comparison’s sake, most completionists got around 50-60 hours out of The Witcher 2.
So, what do you think? Do you want to spend 200+ hours with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt?
