One of Persona 4’s more emotionally twisted characters is Kanji Tatsumi, a second year high school student who just doesn’t feel like he belongs anywhere. He keeps up the rough and tough image of a rebellious young punk, but he secretly enjoys making dolls and sewing.
Now he has to dance the night away with his friends in Persona 4 Dancing All Night. How does he feel about this? Well, he’s certainly going to tell everyone that he hates the idea of boogieing on a stage, but anybody who knows the character will see through this facade. He loves dancing up there, expressing his inner beats that are just struggling to burst free.
The end of the trailer features him dancing in a duet with his friend Naoto, a young female detective with similarly equal gender confusion. The two share a secret crush on one another, and my guess is we’ll be checking in with her in the next trailer.
Persona 4 Dancing All Night will be released for the PS Vita on June 25 in Japan. The American version will be released later in 2015.
