With Twitch on the lookout for licensed music, it can be tough to find good background music to play while streaming games. Thanks to independent hip-hop label Rhymesayers, there’s one more option available.

Rhymesayers, known for artists like Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Grieves, and tons more, launched a Twitch channel this week where they’ll be streaming playlist covering a variety of artists and albums, all of which can be used on Twitch streams without being muted. They also have a couple Spotify playlists setup, one with explicit lyrics, the other purely instrumental.

Additionally, the label will be doing weekly Twitch streams starting this evening when artist Grieves will be streaming at 7 p.m. CST.

This is a great way for an independent music label to give fans a way to show their love for the music and get some free promotion, and something I’d love to see more labels do.
