Attack on Titan for 3DS is finally coming to the west

Atlus announced this week that it will publish Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains for the Nintendo 3DS in North America and Europe.

Attack on Titan is based on the massively popular Japanese anime of the same name, a show about a walled off city trying to defend itself from man-eating giants.

The game is developed by Spike Chunsoft and will be a Nintendo eShop exclusive. It has a single player story and four player cooperative play both online and local. It also supports the New Nintendo 3DS’ C-stick.

The show is massive in Japan, with books, anime and manga already on the market and live action movies on the way. It’s become one of the biggest anime to hit the United States in a while as well, so this should prove to be a popular release.

Atlus has not yet announced a price or release date.
