Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. patch will let you fast forward enemy turns

One of the biggest problems we had with Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. for the Nintendo 3DS was just how long it took the computer to run through turns. We liked everything else about the game. In our review,¬†gaming editor Joey Davidson wrote that “If Intelligent Systems patches in a skip or speed up option? This game will be stellar.”

Look forward to a stellar game: During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that a patch will be heading to the game that offers fast-forwarding through enemy movement phases. Exactly how this will work hasn’t been announced yet, but the video seems to suggest that the New Nintendo 3DS will be able to handle a more powerful fast-forward function than the original model and the 2DS.

No word yet on exactly when the patch is coming, but look forward to it fairly soon.
