Corsair’s new mouse isn’t real, but we almost believe it

PC hardware and peripheral manufacturer Corsair wanted to get in on the April Fools’ fun like so many other companies. To do so, it announced the Corsair M63MM RGB.

The MM stands for Mechanical Mouse. If you’re old enough to remember computers back before mice all had red LEDs and lasers in them, you might also remember having to pop the heavy, rubber-coated ball out of your mouse to clean off the rollers occasionally. You probably also remember making lots of jokes about mice missing some crucial anatomy. Well, Corsair does, too. Get ready for lots of mouse ball jokes!

The best part of this video is that it does a good job of poking fun at the mechanical keyboard market Corsair has jumped so enthusiastically into – they poke fun at themselves. If this product had been announced any other day of the year and with a few less anatomical jokes, I would’ve absolutely believed that someone had made a new ball mouse.
