LG’s new high-end Android Wear watch is set to make its U.K. debut on Monday, April 27, according to one retailer. But if you’re interested in the Watch Urbane, you’ll probably want to start saving now.
Announced back in February, Watch Urbane is a smartwatch designed for those who prefer a more traditional watch design. It’s round like the G Watch R, but much more subtle and understated. Under the hood, however, it’s almost exactly the same as its sibling.
Watch Urbane packs a 1.3-inch P-OLED display, a Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. It also has a 410mAh battery, a 9-axis gyroscope, a compass, an accelerometer, a barometer, and a heart-rate sensor.
While it may be similar to other Android Wear device on the inside, however, the Watch Urban’s stainless steel case and leather strap makes it an expensive choice; British retailer Clove.co.uk has the device priced at £225 (approx. $335), with an April 27 release date.
Those details are yet to be confirmed by LG, but Clove does have a good track record with release dates and price tags. If these details aren’t spot on, then, they won’t be too far off.
