We don’t always get to the stories we want; or, often, there isn’t enough meat in the stories to make them worth covering. Rather than ignore them completely, we’ll start rounding these bits of information up in a handy, easy-to-digest stream. Think of this as your Rumor Roundup, but for movies and other relevant geek culture. Don’t worry, we’ll also include some fun trailers, interviews, and other stuff we think you should check out. Here’s everything you might have missed over the past week.
Having proved their mettle with The Winter Soldier, it looks like Marvel wants the Russo brothers to commit to another movie. Actually, two movies. Deadline reports the Russo bros. have been asked by executives to take the reins of The Avengers: Infinity War, which is being split into two movies; part 1 is scheduled to hit in 2018, with part 2 scheduled for 2019. A new trailer for Entourage has been released, and it’s essentially two minutes of straight debauchery. Pretty much spring break for adults. If you see Entourage for any reason, see it for Liam Neeson in a convertible flipping off the camera. Why, Warners Bros., why? Also: why not?
Um, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2? For realsies? I wanted to like the first TMNT, mainly because I grew up watching the live action movies and cartoons. But it was just bad, and a second one will probably be bad. A new report claims supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio will feature prominently in the new flick, because of course she will. OF COURSE SHE WILL. [HollywoodReporter]
A fresh TV spot for Terminator: Genisys has been released, and it shows off a never-before-seen cyborg. He’s not looking too friendly, which makes us very excited. “There’s a storm coming.” Ugh, enough already with the cliches.
Latino Review claims Star Trek could return to TV. CBS is reportedly looking to bring the beloved franchise back to the small screen, which will closely mirror the reboots we’ve seen in theaters. Hey, I can get behind that. [LatinoReview]

The most Mission Impossible-y trailer of all time has been released, and it contains pretty much everything you’d want from a Tom Cruise movie: shirtless Tom Cruise, Tom Cruise running around, Tom Cruise doing insane stunts, and Tom Cruise otherwise proving he can still do his thing as Ethan Hunt. I have no issue with […]
