Earlier this month, we learned Apple would open a pop-up shop at the famous Selfridges department store in London to show off its new smartwatch. Now, the company has confirmed plans for a trio of locations, adding Paris and Tokyo to the list as well.
In France, Apple will set up shop at the Galeries Lafayette, a high-end 10-story department store in the heart of Paris. The company also has similar plans for the Isetan Shinjuku store in Japan. Finally, the London shop will take over a part of the Wonder Room alongside luxury brands like Gucci and Cartier.
All three Apple Watch shops will open on April 10, when the device will also go on display at official company stores around the world. Shoppers will be able to view the new smartwatch or set up an official appointment first by visiting the Genius Bar at a nearby Apple Store. The actual launch is set for two weeks later on April 24.
We recently learned that you’ll likely need to visit an Apple Store during the two-week preview and reserve the device if you want one on launch day. These new pop-up shops will make it that much easier for people to get their hands on the new smartwatch.
