Earlier this month, we got a first look at the HTC One E9 as it passed through China’s TENAA regulator site. Now what appears to be the first images of the device have surfaced along with a slightly different name for the upcoming smartphone.

The HTC One E9+ looks like a plastic version of the flagship M9 in a fresh batch of photos from @upleaks. The device features a similar two-tone design, though the back appears to be covered in plastic instead of aluminum. The rear camera is also round, with a small flash sitting just underneath. Based on previous leaks we’re expecting the device to pack a 13-megapixel shooter, along with a 5.5-inch 2K display and an octa-core MediaTek processor.

Last year HTC tried something similar with the HTC One (E8), which launched in Asia but eventually made its way to the U.S. on Sprint’s network. We’d expect the same from the E9+, meaning it could be a while before the device arrives in American stores. Then again, with HTC set to make another big announcement next month on April 8 the One E9+ could be in our hands in just a few more weeks.
