Batman: Arkham Knight gets long gameplay video in wake of delay

In case you missed the news, Batman: Arkham Knight was delayed this morning. The game’s release date has slipped from June 2 until June 23.

The good news? We have a great look at the game in action. Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have released a nearly eight minute long gameplay feed. It’s uncut, too. It looks fantastic, and you’ll find it embedded at the head of this post.

The video shows the Caped Crusader doing something extremely awesome. The moment he calls in the Batmobile with a button prompt that reads “even the odds” is great, and I’m now officially more than excited for the use of the ride in this game. It looks fantastic.

Alright, Rocksteady, this gameplay clip has satiated a few of my worries about the game. In spite of the delay, I’m very much looking forward to getting my hands on the new Batman. As long as the story lives up to what Arkham City put down, this could very well be one of the best licensed video games ever made.

Here’s hoping.
