Final Fantasy XV demo just got a whole lot bigger, how to bypass the invisible wall

For the most part, Noctis and his friends are kept locked within an enclosed area in Final Fantasy XV‘s demo, “Episode Duscae.” A flashing light blue line marks the end of the path as to how far they can travel, a border designed by Square Enix to keep fans from seeing the rest of the world.

Yeah, that only took a day to bypass.

YouTube channel BasedSquall has an easy to follow guide that will help Noctis escape from his natural prison, but it involves jumping in front of a car. With proper timing, the car will push Noctis over the boundary, leaving his friends behind as more world opens for exploration. Noctis can find wildlife, dinosaurs, and even the Titan summon if players are willing to undertake a long trek across mountains to find him.

Keep in mind that with no car, you’ll be doing a lot of running. That’s fine though since a few travel glitches will cut down on travel time. This is not the entire world either, mind you.

Final Fantasy XV “Episode Duscae” is already the most exciting demo of the last several years, including Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, but things just got a whole lot more interesting thanks to fan participation. Between the super Behemoth boss and the larger world at hand, it could be a demo you’ll be coming back to right up until the full game is released.
