Motorola is very likely building a successor to the Moto 360, one of the best Android Wear smartwatches currently on the market. A possible slip-up by Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing may provide us with the first look at that successor.
Yuanqing recently posted photos of the watch on Weibo before deleting his images, perhaps upon realization that the watch isn’t public yet. At first glance it almost looks exactly like the Moto 360 but, as Droid-Life points out, there’s one major difference. The watches you see above sport large lugs at the top and bottom of the watchface, which can be used to easily add various watchbands. It also appears that there are several new colors and two different sizes pictured.
If these are indeed the real deal, it looks like Motorola isn’t too far away from a finished product. Maybe we’ll hear more during Google I/O 2015, which is a year after the first Android Wear models were introduced.
