Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 slices onto the Xbox One, complete with goofy trailer

Hey, I’m not knocking Fruit Ninja here. I enjoyed the game as a mobile experience, and I even snapped up the first Kinect version on the Xbox 360 when it released a few years back.

Honestly, it was fun. Especially in groups with a few drinks around the holidays? Yeah, we Fruit Ninja Kinect‘d the crap out of everything. I won’t lie.

Now that Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 is on the Xbox One, it’s likely only a matter of time until someone from within my group of friends asks me to pick it up. I’ll probably show them this very silly trailer, too.

Microsoft and Half-Brick are asking fans to show off their “Ninja Style” with a 30 second clip. They’ll select their favorites and give winners free stuff, like and Xbox One, 12 months of Xbox Live Gold and Fruit Ninja Kinect 2.

Oh, there’s a story mode in this game, by the way. Here’s the description.

FNK2 tells the story of the Blueberry Moon festival, where a cast of colorful characters invite you to take part in the ultimate slicing challenges.

The Blueberry Moon festival!? Of course!

Any takers on Fruit Ninja Kinect 2?
