T-Mobile expands Data Stash ahead of Un-carrier event

T-Mobile will host a new Un-carrier event this Wednesday, where the company is expected to shake up the wireless industry with incentives to attract new customers again. Ahead of its event, however, it announced that it’s expanding its Data Stash offering, which rolls over unused data each month, to more of its current customers.

T-Mobile announced on Monday that, beginning on Sunday, March, 22, customers on T-Mobile’s prepaid plans will also be able to start saving unused data each month. It will apply to all customers on Simple Choice prepaid plans and will provide them with the same 10GB Starter Stash that postpaid customers also receive. “And when that’s all used up, they’ll start rolling forward their unused data for use up to a full year,” T-Mobile explained, noting that it’s specifically targeting Verizon and AT&T customers with its new incentive.

It’s still unclear what T-Mobile has in store for Wednesday, but it’s already stepping up its game ahead of the event. TechnoBuffalo will be covering the news live, so be sure to check back for the news as it happens.
