Apple just confirmed that the Apple Watch will launch on April 24. The device will be available for pre-order and in-store preview starting on April 10.
The Apple Watch price ranges for $349 for the cheapest Sport model to over $10,000 for the limited gold Edition variant. Apple is expected to introduce a new retail experience for the new smartwatch, though the company didn’t offer any details at today’s event.
Another big question surrounding the Apple Watch today was its battery life. Today, the company confirmed the device will last 18 hours. That’s better than many people expected, though it’s still not as impressive of some of the company’s smartwatch competition.
Unfortunately, it looks like we’ll have to wait over a month to try out the Apple Watch for ourselves beyond the quick demo Apple is offering after today’s event. Hopefully, we’ll learn even more about the device before April 10 when it finally arrives in stores.
