Xperia Z4 Tablet is so light it floats away in new video

How many balloons does it take to carry the Xperia Z4 Tablet safely through the air? That may sound like a riddle, but thanks to Sony we know the answer. The company sent its latest Android slate floating over Barcelona with just six helium balloons during Mobile World Congress.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet is an impressively light device, coming in at 389 grams compared to Apple’s 434-gram iPad Air 2. It also features a beautiful 10.1-inch 2K display and a sleek industrial design. Under the hood, it packs a Snapdragon 810 processor, a 6000mAh battery, an 8.1-megapixel rear camera, a 5.1-megapixel front-facing shooter, 32GB of storage with microSD support, 3GB of RAM and a water-resistant rating.

Of course, with enough balloons it’s possible to float pretty much anything. Still, we were impressed by how light the Xperia Z4 Tablet was when we saw it at Mobile World Congress earlier this week, and we’ll be bringing you our hands-on with it soon.
