Metal Gear Solid V’s release dates confirmed, collector’s editions detailed

Following yesterday’s leak of today’s special revealMetal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain now has an official set of release dates. The PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of the game will hit on Sept. 1, 2015 (just like the leak said). The Steam version of the game, however, won’t release until Sept. 15, 2015. That’s news.

The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will sell for $59.99. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions will move for $49.99.

The official reveal also includes word of two edition configurations for the game. First, and this is the simplest, comes the Day One edition of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
