We’re still a few months away from the LG G4’s debut, but the company may already be looking ahead to its next big phone. Speaking at Mobile World Congress on Wednesday, LG mobile chief Cho Jun-ho teased a new flagship device beyond the G lineup.

“We are planning to release a product that stands above the G series,” Cho told the press, adding that the mysterious new device will launch before the end of the year. He also hinted that the new flagship phone could run one of the company’s own processors. LG’s octa-core Odin processor first leaked late last year, but still hasn’t been used in any new devices.

Cho also touched on the company’s plans for the LG G4, which will reportedly incorporate metal into its design. Before revealing the actual phone, LG says it plans to show off its latest Android UI, which he called “simply the best.”

LG is expected to release the G4 as soon as next month, though the company still hasn’t announced any concrete plans. We’re also expecting the device to pack an upgraded 20.7-megapixel camera, a better display and a G Pen stylus, but we won’t know for sure until the new phone makes its official debut.
