It’s only been a week since the Pebble Time was officially announced, but today the company revealed another new smartwatch. The Pebble Time Steel features an upgraded design that’s all stainless steel and leather along with a beefed up battery and a higher price to match.

Otherwise, it’s pretty much the Pebble Time, offering the same basic design along with the company’s new Timeline software. The new model comes in three variants: silver with a stone leather band, black with a black leather band or gold with a red leather band. Of course, you can always swap out the wristband if you prefer an all-metal look or any other style.

If you already pre-ordered the regular Pebble Time on Kickstarter don’t worry. The smartwatch-maker is offering the option to upgrade to Steel without losing you place in line, though you’ll have to pay a bit extra for the metal device. Just click the blue “Manage” button to upgrade your pledge. The Pebble Time Steel costs $250 on Kickstarter ($299 when it hits the market) for a limited time, and ships a few months later in July.

The new Steel smartwatch is the most expensive model Pebble has ever offered, making it a tough decision for even the company’s biggest supporters. If you plan on wearing your new watch every day it’s probably worth upgrading to a nicer-looking model with a better battery. If you’re more of a casual user the Pebble Time should be just fine.
