Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - Link DLC

Every month from now into the foreseeable future, Capcom will release free Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate DLC for Nintendo 3DS owners.

The releases will always drop on the first Friday of the month, and that means we’ll get our next batch this Friday. The first wave includes some Link (yes, that Link) equipment and the first episode quest. Pretty sweet.

Capcom spoke with IGN during their Nintendo Voice Chat podcast about the release schedule for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate‘s DLC, and that’s where they announced that they plan to do it monthly on the first Friday.

If you can get into the gameplay loop of Monster Hunter, you’d be hard-pressed to find a single game that provides more value for $39.99 on the Nintendo 3DS than MH4U. Just the standalone retail game alone is massive, and all of these extra free goodies will only pile on to what’s already a huge experience.

Pretty cool of Capcom, if you ask me. I have a feeling I’m going to be sticking with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for a good, long time.
