HTC One M9 vs iPhone 6 Plus spec shootout

by Brandon Russell | March 2, 2015March 2, 2015 4:00 pm PST

Anytime a new phone is released, a comparison to Apple’s iPhone is inevitable. But therein lies the problem. You never really get the full picture, even though, yes, the iPhone doesn’t typically match its rivals spec-for-spec. In the case of the iPhone 6 Plus—Apple’s biggest ever iPhone—it’s one juggernaut against another. Two very beautiful aluminum phones clashing head-to-head.

If there’s any company that rivals Apple’s design prowess, it’s HTC—and the new HTC One M9 is the right up there among the best we’ve seen. But it’s not just about design, of course. A spec sheet will never provide you with information about the experience, something that HTC has been improving over the past couple of years.

But until we can actually compare the experiences over a significant amount of time, you can feast on the spec sheets below. We won’t spend time detailing how one spec is better than another. You can probably come to your own conclusions about that. Who do you have as your winner?
