HTC One M9 live stream confirmed for the company’s big announcement

HTC has some big news to share with us on March 1. Common sense says the focus of the event will be the rumored HTC One M9 smartphone, though it’s possible the company could surprise us with a few more products. Now, thankfully, you can watch along at home thanks to an official live stream from the Taiwanese firm.

The entire thing kicks off on March 1 in Barcelona at 4 p.m. local time— that’s 10 a.m. in New York. You’ll be able to live stream the HTC One M9 announcement from the company’s own website, though it’s unclear what kind of video service is being used. Hopefully, it’s stable enough to stay live even with thousands or even millions of people likely tuning in to watch.

The HTC One M9 isn’t expected to be a huge update over last year’s M8, at least from a design perspective. Recent leaks have shown a two-tone metal device with familiar front-facing speaker grills and the same basic form. Rumor has it the device could offer a 1080p display, a Snapdragon 810 processor and upgraded cameras. The company will likely also introduce a new version of its Sense UI with some handy new features and an updated look.

We’ll be covering the entire thing live from Barcelona, and we can’t wait to get our hands on the One M9 and any other new gadgets HTC has up its sleeve.
