Samsung Wireless Charger FCC

Samsung is set to take the stage on March 1 in Spain with new products, and it looks like wireless chargers could be amongst the lineup.

We’ve heard rumors for some time now that Samsung would could be adding wireless charging to the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, but there hasn’t been much to back those rumors up. In what seems to be perfect timing, however, Samsung has passed two wireless chargers through the United States FCC for approval.

Most of the information related to these two devices is still listed as confidential, and all that really gives us any clues are the labels that will be attached to them along with where they will be placed on what appears to be the bottom of the device.

While there is nothing to solidly attach these to being used with the upcoming Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, the timing in addition to the rumors of wireless charging being included with those phones certainly makes this seem as though they are connected.

We’ll find out on March 1 when Samsung takes the stage in Spain for its annual MWC Unpacked event. TechnoBuffalo will be in attendance so stay tuned for all of the news.

Thanks to Sam for the tip!
