In addition to the finalized Steam Controller and wealth of living room Steam Machines, Valve has a brand new “previously-unannounced” SteamVR virtual reality hardware system that it will be showing off for the first time next week at Game Developers Conference 2015.

Steam is bringing the best games and user-generated content to exciting new destinations. At GDC 2015, we’ll be giving demos of the refined Steam Controller, new living room devices, and a previously-unannounced SteamVR hardware system.

In addition to the announcement, Valve has set up an official SteamVR Twitter page to keep the announcements flowing. Game developers who want to give the new system a try can sign up for a demonstration directly through Steam.

Game Developers Conference will run from March 2 through 6 in San Francisco. Press is not invited to the conference, but we will be sure to cover any other exciting announcements that find their way from the show.
