To The Moon

Beloved indie hit To The Moon continues to churn out its unmistakable brand of emotional storytelling in a new mini-episode available for free to those who already own the main game.

The mini-episode follows the continuing careers of Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts and their company Sigmund Corp. To those who haven’t played To The Moon, these two are contracted by people on their death beds to give them false memories, often times turning up unexpected trauma and allowing them to die feeling satisfied and at peace.

Naturally, plenty of people don’t like this idea of their loved ones passing on with false memories, and the practice has inspired protests, setting up the situation for this mini-episode. Our two doctors attend to the young boy from To The Moon’s other mini-sequel, A Bird Story, and it will help set up the game’s true sequel, Finding Paradise.

Beating the mini-episode will only take 20 minutes.

Developer Kan Gao is not asking for money for this mini-episode, but he is taking donations for To The Moon’s artist, Jordan Baer, for his chemotherapy treatment. Be sure to donate generously if you’ve been touched by Gao’s storytelling and Baer’s artwork.
