Pebble is expected to announce a totally redesigned version of its popular smartwatch on Tuesday, but the first image of the new device may have already leaked out on the company’s own website.

Spotted by 9to5Mac, the new image seems to match up with previous leaks surrounding the rumored smartwatch. The device appears to sport a color e-paper display, compared to the black-and-white screens found on current models. It’s also expected to offer a thinner design, though today’s leaked picture doesn’t offer a profile shot of the alleged wearable.

Overall, the design looks a bit bulky, and seems to sport some particularly thick bezels. Hopefully the actual smartwatch will be a bit sleeker that the render above. Then again, the device is expected to pack in a bunch of new hardware, possibly explaining the questionable design.

Rumor has it the new Pebble could include a built-in microphone for voice controls as part of the device’s new software. The company will allegedly unveil a redesigned operating system as well, created by the team behind webOS, though today’s leak seems to show a pretty standard user interface.

Either way, with Pebble set to share some big news tomorrow it shouldn’t be much longer before we get an official look at the new smartwatch.
