Apple is gearing up to offer web-based support for Beats products alongside its own, sources claim. Starting tomorrow, February 23, Apple’s online support representatives will be able to help with issues surrounding Beats headphones and speakers.
Apple already provides online support for Macs, iPhones, iPads, and iPods, which enables customers to get assistance for problems without visiting a Genius Bar. Now, almost nine months after its acquisition, Apple is set to expand its support to Beats products.
9to5Mac reports that Beats support will be available from tomorrow via the usual support pages on Apple’s website. Customers will be able to get help with things like product setup and troubleshooting minor problems.
The move comes three months after Apple began providing Beats support and repairs through its retail stores. Last month, the Cupertino company also brought Beats’ entire phone-based support service in-house.
If you run into issues with Beats products from now on, then, you can expect the same great level of customer service you would get with any other Apple product. That should mean simple fixes for minor problems, and speedy repairs or replacements for breakdowns and manufacturing defects.
