A few weeks ago, Sony of Japan held a special auction to sell the #00001 20th Anniversary Edition PlayStation 4. They money earned in that auction would go to charity.

The winning bid was ¥15,158,120, or roughly $127,000. The problem? The sale failed, according to Sony of Japan, and the bidder didn’t cough up the cash.

The good news? Sony of Japan donated the money anyway. The company handed that 15 million yen check to the Japanese arm of Save the Children.

As for the #00001 PS4? The company currently plans to showcase it in its Tokyo showroom beginning on Feb. 21. Take that, prank bidder.
