NVIDIA and its retail partners are currently offering a new deal on the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet. Customers who purchase the 32GB 4G+LTE model or the 16GB Wi-Fi model can expect to receive a $30 NVIDIA gift card.

You can opt to spend that gift card on accessories, which means you’re pretty much getting a SHIELD Controller, priced at $29.99, with the purchase. You might also consider a cover for the tablet, which is priced at $9.99.┬áNVIDIA said several partners are participating in the promotion, including Amazon, B&H, Best Buy, Fry’s (LTE model only), GameStop, Micro Center, NCIX, Newegg and Target. Tiger Direct is offering a $30 mail-in rebate instead. Customers can also opt to purchase the tablets direct from NVIDIA’s website, which is also offering the gift card.

We’re huge fans of the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet and think it’s one of the best Android tablets on the market. NVIDIA was quick to roll-out its Android 5.0 Lollipop update, will soon offer 40 free PC games for streaming through GRID, and even rolled out an update yesterday that improves the battery life, charging performance and more. Hit the source to pick one up from Amazon now, or head to one of the retailer’s listed above.
