HTC One M9 system dump reveals all out-of-box software

HTC confirmed on Tuesday that we’re going to be introduced to the new HTC One M9 on March 1, an announcement that’s seemed pretty obvious for some time now. We already have high expectations thanks to some earlier leaks that are pointing to a Snapdragon 810 processor, a 1080p display, a new and improved 20 megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM and more. Now we’re getting a look at the software side of things, with an alleged list of all of the pre-installed APKs.

Upleaks recently posted the list to Twitter, which shows everything we should expect to come pre-installed on the One M9 out of the box. A lot of the essentials are there, obviously, and so are some additions like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, which is pretty par for the course and may be pre-installed to sync up with BlinkFeed. VideoTalkEnhancement.apk is mentioned, which might suggest some tweaks to video calls, though we’re really not sure. There’s also an FM_Radio.apk, again not surprising, and several apps that point to lots of home screen customization options. Again, there aren’t too many surprises in here, which as PhoneArena points out, suggests that most of HTC’s changes might be visual in terms of a Sense 7 upgrade.

We hope to spend plenty of time scouring through HTC’s new One M9 in Barcelona on March 1, when we’ll report back with all of the changes HTC has made on the device. Take a look at the full system dump here:
