It’s the remaster you never knew you wanted. Darksiders 2 Definitive Edition is the latest game to get a leak through Amazon, pointing out that Nordic Games finally plans to put the former THQ property back to work.
The Amazon site has since been pulled but not without screen captures taken by All Games Beta. The game will cost $39.99 on release.
Did anybody ask for this one? I’m not so sure I did. The first one was fine enough, but I never gave the second one the time of day.
Other Nordic PlayStation 4 games leaked on Amazon over the weekend include MX vs. ATV: Supercross Encore Edition, The Legend of Kay, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, and Arcania – The Complete Tale. All are available at a lesser price than normal full game releases averaging out at about $30.
Nordic Games famously captured a handful of properties from the THQ bankruptcy auction two years ago with Darksiders and Red Faction being the most high profile of the bunch. MX vs. ATV: Supercross is the only original game it has put out since then using the acquired properties.
We’re hoping that the re-releases point towards a incentive to get the franchises back and running.
