Are you ready for the HTC One M9? We certainly are, and we’ve already prepared a list of some of our expectations ahead of the March 1 announcement. We’ve been granted plenty of fodder ahead of the final reveal, thankfully, including 16 concept images that take into consideration all of the leaks, images that might show us what the final body looks like and more. Today, we might be getting a look at a new wallpaper.

Twitter user and HTC ROM developer LLabTooFer, who is usually spot-on with HTC news, recently published an image that’s reportedly going to ship pre-loaded on the One M9 as one of several default wallpapers. It packs a 1920 x 2160-pixel resolution, suggesting we’re still looking at a 1920 x 1080-pixel display and a scrollable wallpaper that will work with it. That might be some bad news for folks who were hoping for Quad HD this time around, though the One M9 Plus might satisfy folks with an itch for the higher resolutions screens.

LLabTooFer said on Twitter that this is just a taste of what’s to come, and that we can expect new wallpapers each day until March 1. You can grab the full-sized image in the link below:
