16 HTC One (M9) concept images whet our appetites ahead of March 1

March 1 is going to be a busy day for the mobile industry. Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, and HTC has a press conference where we expect to see the HTC One (M9) make its debut. Plenty of leaks have already provided some idea of what to expect when HTC announces the device, and now an artist under the moniker “Phone Designer” has created some concept renders of what he believes the phone might look like.

Keep in mind these are concept images, not leaked renders out of HTC, but they do take in a lot of the leaked information as a basis for the artist’s inspiration. You’ll note the aluminum design and that the artist has taken into consideration that HTC will probably ditch the black bar at the bottom of the phone. The artist has hidden the BoomSound speakers below the HTC logo at the bottom of the phone and above the camera at the top. We also notice a large camera sensor on the back and a dual-LED flash, which might align with rumors that HTC is going to focus on adding more megapixels this time around, instead of a rear-facing UltraPixel camera.

Hopefully HTC has a similar design coming down the pipes – a lot of this seems plausible, and we’re loving what this artist drafted up. We’ll find out the real deal on March 1.
