LA-MULANA makes you wait for pain, Delayed into February

How badly do you want the hurt? How long can you wait to take it with you? The LA-MULANA port on the PS Vita has been delayed to late February, making the anticipation for video game masochists just that more painful… which I guess means they like it. I dunno.

Developer NIGORO, porting team Pygmy Studios, and publisher Rising Star Games are all rocking their mini-masterpiece like its some hot-shot AAA hit the masses just can’t wait to get their hands on. Way to play with the big leagues, fellas! You have a game people want to play, let them for an extra month or so. That’s the trend in 2015!

If you have’t played the Wii or PC version of LA-MULANA then you are missing out on the best “metroidvania” since… well… Super Metroid and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It’s one of the few games in the sub-genre which can stand toe-to-toe with the classics that determined its moniker. Great music, great exploration, great gameplay, great graphics.

Just don’t expect it to go easy on you. That’s the last thought which passed through the minds of many great explorers and archaeologists.

LA-MULANA will be released for the PS Vita later this month.
