I imagine if you know about or have played Contrast, it’s likely because you snapped up a PlayStation 4 near launch, activated your trial PS Plus account and downloaded the game for free. That’s how a lot of people, myself included, experienced Compulsion Games’ Contrast.
The studio has been relatively quiet since that game launched. That’s all changing today, of course, as it has revealed a quick glimpse at its next game.
Compulsion doesn’t have a title or much in the way of details to share. The images are what you see above and below (I particularly like the crazy eyes in the image below).
Compulsion Games offers this about what the game is, or, more specifically, isn’t on its official site.
What we can say is that it’s not a sequel to Contrast. We haven’t ruled out doing one in the future, but after so long working on Contrast, we wanted to make something fresh. Something new and exciting. It involves masks, drugs and memory loss, but we swear it’s not a swinger’s party.
Masks, drugs, memory loss and not a sequel to Contrast. Here’s hoping it’s good.
We’ll have more on what Compulsion is doing next as it comes.
