Seriously, Dante. Bro. What are we doing here? Are we slicing apart the metallic fiends from a robotic hell , or are we jamming to the beats for a night out on the town? What’s with this music?
This newest trailer for the DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition nearly dares you not to get excited for it. We’ve already gone in depth about how this is a “Definitive Version” that is worthy of the title based on new content alone. However, with ridiculous gameplay like this, played in 1080p at 60fps, it is getting harder and harder to resist getting swept into the groove.
No, Dante still doesn’t have white hair, but I’m over it. Over the last two years, I’ve made my peace with where Capcom has positioned itself in the gaming industry, and I can only hope that it continues to do better. In the meantime, is it wrong to hold those feelings of frustration against a game that by all means looks really solid? I don’t believe so anymore.
You can bet that those feelings have been buried, and I’m finally ready to give this game a spin. Judging by how sick this definitive edition looks, it seems my timing couldn’t be any better.
DmC Devil May Cry:Definitive Edition will be released on March 10 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
