Apple is reportedly gearing up to hold another press conference sometime in February. The company will apparently use the time to discuss several topics, including the Apple Watch due out in April, and possibly the new 12-inch MacBook Air.
The event was discussed by iGen, which suggested that Apple will hold the event on Tuesday, Feb. 24. That’s the week before the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona, and it would be a typical Apple move to try to take some wind out of the sails of that event just before it kicks off.
The event could make sense, if Apple wants to finally tell the world how much each model of the Apple Watch will cost and when it will be available. It also could discuss the aforementioned 12-inch MacBook Air, which might feature an all-new fanless design. By all accounts, however, this is still a rumor.
Update: As with all rumors, this one may actually be false. 9to5Mac says its sources claim no event is planned for February.
