Of course Nintendo of Japan wouldn’t actually release of video a Producer Eiji Aonuma gambling at a dog track! Come on!
They would, however, post a clip of the game creator betting on dogs with rupees while playing the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. Aonuma gets into it, too, donning the Mask of Truth in order to learn more about the dogs as he picks them up.
How long does he actually play the mini-game? Well, he spends nearly two full in-game days at the track. Two days in the game without fiddling with time by using your Ocarina equates to around 30 minutes. It might be closer to 35 or 36 minutes, I’m not sure. I do know that he’s trying to win some serious rupees by selecting whichever dog he thinks is fastest. He must be going for the piece of heart that the banker dishes out once you save 5,000 rupees.
I, too, have been sucked up in the mini games lately in Majora’s Mask 3D as I play it for review. I’m between dungeons currently, and that’s given me time to move about Termina and snap up as many collectibles as I can.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D releases on Feb. 13, 2015. We’ll have more on the game, including our review, as it comes.
