We’ve had a few glimpses at the evil-doers behind the wrecked timeline of Dragon Ball Xenoverse, but this is the big daddy of them all. Demigra the Demon God is an original character created specifically for this storyline, and he is behind the outbreak of pink-eye which seems to make our Z-fighters turn evil.
In this gallery, he brings our favorite green-guy Piccolo under his will and turns the scary Namek against the young Trunks and Goten. Not that it would matter so much because Piccolo was kind of irrelevant in the show by this point in terms of power, and those two kids wouldn’t take too long to bring him to his knees. This Demigra is the brains behind this operation, and he didn’t know that?
As for the rest of the gallery, we have a few glances at character art from the game with newer and older characters alike. Everyone from Yamcha and Buu to Krillin and Cell pop up, showing that this game has no concern over pitting canonically weak fighters against villains they wouldn’t have a chance against. That’s what makes these games so great! Throw canon to the wind!
I’m taking Chiaotzu every time!
Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be released for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC on Feb. 24.
