Majora’s Mask 3D Gets N64 Graphics Comparison Videos

When it releases on Feb. 13, 2015, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will definitely look different when compared to the original Nintendo 64 version of the title. How different?

Well, at least one YouTube channel has taken up the task of creating comparison videos. Master0fHyrule produced the two that you see in this post (above and below), and the game actually looks pretty good.

I wrote about Majora’s Mask 3D last week, and I offered that it looked to me like the color palette was a bit different. I threw that assumption out without actually comparing shots or videos from the two games. These clips confirm my assumption, though. The game looks brighter and more vibrant than it did way back when.

It’s been a long, long time since I played my copy of Majora’s Mask on the Nintendo 64. I’m getting pretty excited to dive back into this dark world.
