Apple’s iPad Pro is expected to arrive sometime this year with a 12.9-inch display. It might even include a stylus, according to one recent report. What will this device look like? Gadget-rendering master Martin Hajek has some pretty good ideas.
A new set of renders show off the alleged iPad Pro next to the latest iPhone and Apple tablets. Hajek’s images include massive bezels around the screen, citing earlier leaked pictures as his inspiration. The new design also adds a second set of speaker grills at the top of the device along with those at the bottom for a stereo sound experience. Overall, it looks pretty nice, though we’re not sure why those big bezels are necessary.
Finally, Hajek imagines what an Apple-made stylus would look like, offering up two different versions in white and black. The design includes what looks like a volume rocker and biometric sensors up top, and an Apple Watch-inspired digital crown at the base with a light-up Apple logo.
Of course, there’s no guarantee Apple will ever release a stylus. After all, Steve Jobs famously bashed the need for a physical tablet input beyond your own fingers. Still, if the company does try something like this for the iPad Pro it might be worth considering Hajek’s suggestions.
