Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Adds Lady Hammerlock to Playable Characters

Gearbox Software and 2K Games have announced a brand new playable character for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Vault Hunters will be able to ride as Sir Hammerlock’s sister, Lady Aurelia the Baroness (AKA, Lady Hammerlock).

The official Gearbox site details her three skill trees as follows:

Her three skills trees are Huntress, Cold Money, and Contractual Aristocracy. Her Huntress skill tree focuses on sniping, including a skill that offers a massive critical hit bonus for each consecutive hit she lands without missing. Her other skill tree, Cold Money, focuses on ice damage and includes a skill that can add Cryo damage to any gun. Her third skill tree is Contractual Aristocracy, which allows her to turn a co-op teammate into a servant, earning her bonuses for their kills in addition to her own. We’ll have much more info on just how badass Aurelia is in the weeks ahead, so keep an eye out for a deep dive on her skills.

The Lady Hammerlock pack will officially release on Jan. 27. Yes, that’s this week. It will hit on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms, and it will move for $9.99. It is a part of the Season Pass for The Pre-Sequel if you already picked that up. You can still snag the pass, of course, which rolls for $29.99.

Now, if you’re waiting for the recently announced new generation Borderlands: The Handsome Collection‘s March 24, 2015 launch, the Lady Hammerlock pack will be included in that purchase, just like all other Borderlands add-ons.

Any takers?
