Motorola released Android 5.0 Lollipop for several devices rather quickly. For some reason, however, it stopped pushing out the update to the Moto G (2014), while continuing the push for other devices such as the Moto X and first-generation Moto G. Thankfully, the update is now resuming.

Motorola said that it’s pushing Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Moto G (2014) in phases, which means you might not see it immediately. That may be one way to quickly pull back on the update, too, should anything go awry a second time. The company also said that it’s updating the original Moto G and this year’s model in India, too.

Be on the lookout for the over-the-air update if you haven’t seen it yet. Android 5.0 Lollipop is our favorite version of the operating system, and there’s a lot to love.
