Here’s Co-op Play in Dying Light as Done by the Developers

As the release date for the game nears, Techland is ramping up its marketing efforts for Dying Light even further. Today, we have four developers from the studio playing the game’s cooperative mode.

The work is done by developers Tymon Smektała, Maciej Binkowski, Brand Manager Paweł Modliński and Assistant Producer Marcel Mitraszewski. You’ll see some solid gameplay as well as a few tactics that the developers consider rather advanced. Things also don’t go so hot at times, showing us that Dying Light will be a tough romp.

The release that accompanied the video detailed a bit of the nature of cooperative play in the technical sense. This is drop-in and drop-out co-op for up to four players. It’s fully integrated with the campaign, so quests can be completed together between four players and progress will… progress. There are even special cooperative challenges.

Dying Light is set to release later this month for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
