LG’s next big smartphone will probably be the highly-anticipated G4, but it looks like the company might also be working on a few other devices. Today, we’re getting a first look at what appears to be an upcoming smart flip phone, courtesy of Twitter tipster @upleaks.
The original LG Ice Cream first launched in 2008, running a pretty primitive operating system with a 2.2-inch 240 x 320-pixel display and a single 3.15-megapixel camera. It looks like the upcoming LG Ice Cream Smart could offer an updated design, possibly with a front-facing camera. It also appears to run a modified version of Android similar to the UI included with LG’s recent flagship phones, though on a much smaller screen.
LG’s latest flip phone doesn’t come as a huge surprise. After all, the company released a similar device called the LG Wine Smart back in September. We’re guessing the Ice Cream Smart could follow a similar route, meaning it probably won’t be available here in the U.S.
