So, you’re walking about the world of Dragon Age: Inquisition, fighting bad guys, romancing interests and, perhaps, murdering dragons when you notice an overabundance of silence amidst your heroic compadres. What’s the deal with that?

It turns out that the party system in the single player side of Dragon Age: Inquisition was meant to be a much more chatty affair. In fact, BioWare has announced a patch that will increase the “banter” between members of your party.

Here’s the exact rub by way of an official PC patch note post from BioWare directly.

Changed party banter system to be less random to prevent extra-long periods where no conversations would occur.

There you go!

The party banter patch has only been announced for the PC platform so far. If you’re playing Inquisition on another system, you might have to wait a while in order to hear your friends talk about random background lore and such while you explore.

Anyone else notice a dearth of discussion while cruising around the world of Dragon Age: Inquisition?
