The Galaxy S6 is expected to look pretty different from the past few generations of Samsung’s flagship phones, and one new report claims to reveal exactly what the company has planned. According to Korean site Digital Daily, the upcoming handset will feature a glass panel on either side with a ring of metal around the edges.
It sounds like the Galaxy S6 could actually resemble the iPhone 4 design, which featured a similar glass and metal setup. Samsung’s new phone is expected to feature a much bigger Quad HD display, a redesigned fingerprint reader, a Snapdragon 810 or Exynos processor, and run Android 5.0 Lollipop. Rumor has it Samsung will also offer a Galaxy S6 Edge variant with a display that curves on the two sides.
We’ve heard a lot of rumors about the Galaxy S6 in the past few months, but we’re still not sure exactly what to expect from the upcoming flagship phone. Thankfully, we’re just a little over a month away from Mobile World Congress, where Samsung is expected to unveil the new handset alongside a few other devices. We’ll be covering the show live from Barcelona, and we can’t wait to see what the company has up its sleeve.
